ChatGPT Custom GPT Action

In a private custom GPT, add an Action, import our OpenAPI schema, and configure API key authentication with Bearer auth. This requires access to GPT creation and Actions in your ChatGPT account.

The saved key grants access to your profile. Keep the GPT private. ChatGPT media-upload and action restrictions apply; start by listing accounts and validating a text post.

Publishing from the ChatGPT interface has not yet been verified.

Other agents & automations REST or MCP

Use a client with HTTP requests or remote HTTP MCP support and bearer headers. Your AI provider's subscription or API costs are separate.

What it can do

complete_mediaVerify an upload and obtain a media ID.
create_postValidate, save a draft, schedule or publish with a stable requestKey.
add_mediaLegacy small URL imports from explicitly allowed hosts.

Then just ask

You: Schedule "We just launched" to X and LinkedIn for December 1, 2026 at 09:00 UTC.

Claude: [list_accounts] → x (@yourbrand), linkedin (@you)
        [create_post] → Scheduled for 2026-12-01T09:00:00Z on:
                        x (@yourbrand), linkedin (@you).

It tells the model why

When a caption won't pass, the tool returns the specific network and its limit rather than a generic failure — so the model can shorten it and retry instead of discovering the problem after half your networks already published.

This caption will not pass on every network you chose:
- x: 412 chars — X allows 280.

Shorten it, or target fewer networks.

A note on access

Discovery — the handshake and the tool list — is open, so a client can find the server before it has a key. Anything that touches your accounts requires an API key. Publishing requires an active trial or subscription and an eligible connected account.

Posting is an API call your agent can make.
